What to Expect at a Community Cupping
Whether you're a coffee enthusiast or simply curious about what makes coffees taste different from one another, our Community Cuppings are designed to be welcoming, educational, and enjoyable for everyone.
Led by one of our coffee curators, you'll be guided through the same tasting process used by coffee professionals around the world. Together, we'll explore several coffees side by side, paying attention to their unique aromas, flavors, acidity, sweetness, and body.
During the cupping, you'll:
Learn how coffee professionals evaluate and compare coffees
Smell the dry and brewed coffee to identify different aromas
Taste multiple coffees and discover what makes each one unique
Take simple tasting notes and compare your observations with others
Gain a deeper appreciation for the journey from farm to cup
No prior coffee knowledge is required. There are no right or wrong answers—everyone experiences flavor differently. Come curious, ask questions, and enjoy a guided exploration of coffee with fellow community members.
